Even though our national health officials like Anthony Fauci never talk about it, Vitamin D has long been believed to help ward off COVID and minimize symptoms of those who catch it. And now the science backs up that belief, with a study out of Italy concluding that, “The current evidence supports the benefits of vitamin D interventions in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 due to the protective effect provided by vitamin D against ICU admission and mortality.”
