The US is becoming more vocal about its support for Taiwan, which China has falsely claimed is part of China. US lawmakers made a trip to Taiwan, which angered Beijing and led to an alarming response. And China’s economy, and likely the world’s economy, is in danger thanks to China’s shaky real estate market, which is the primary investment vehicle for Chinese citizens. That’s after several of the country’s largest real estate development companies reported unsustainable levels of debt that they were having trouble paying off.
